IndieMassive isn’t a standalone distributor. It’s the distribution arm of Actuation Group, a self-funded 360 music ecosystem we built and own outright. That means the tools you use to release music, the marketing and promotion that get it heard, and the label expertise behind it all sit under one roof and connect directly to your distribution. Most artists and labels have to stitch these together from separate companies, each taking a cut and each with its own agenda. Here they work as one system built for you.
Because we’re self-funded, we answer to artists, not investors. There’s no pressure to squeeze your catalog to satisfy a shareholder. You keep 100% of your rights and 100% of ownership. We give you the infrastructure of a major label without asking you to hand over what makes your work yours.
This is no issue at all. All we would need is a DDEX export from your previous distributor. There are no fees for this!

A cover song is a recording of a song that was previously written. If you plan on releasing a cover song then you will need to obtain the mechanical license from the original copyright owner. This can be done with easysong.com here – https://www.easysong.com/
You must have your song cleared via easysong.com before you distribute via IndieMassive.
Are samples or vocals from the original singer allowed? No.
If your song is a mixtape, mashup or remix, you will also need to obtain the rights via easysong.com.
A soundalike cover song is one that sounds identical to the original. This can be perceived as deceptive and the song is likely to be hidden by many stores. If this is the case then please be wary that IndieMassive will not provide a refund.
Cover songs should NOT include the original performing artist in the track title or artist field.
